Physical participation
Learners may move, sort, compare, build, place or manipulate elements where the activity calls for it.
CforCommerce turns finance and commerce concepts into guided experiences that require participation, judgement, discussion and reflection.

A Finance Lab is a structured experiential learning environment where learners explore money, banking, risk, digital transactions, enterprise and related commerce concepts through guided participation, decisions, discussion and reflection.
Learners do not begin with a definition. They begin with a situation.
They make choices, compare alternatives and deal with consequences.
Different decisions create different outcomes – and better questions.
Facilitators connect the experience back to the concept.
Learners use the idea again in a new context, making the learning easier to transfer beyond the lab.
Learners may move, sort, compare, build, place or manipulate elements where the activity calls for it.
Learners may take different perspectives and see how incentives or responsibilities change a decision.
Everyday situations make abstract concepts easier to question and discuss.
Small groups compare reasoning instead of waiting for one correct answer from the front of the room.
The facilitator connects what happened in the activity back to the financial or commerce concept.
Budget. Prioritise. Compare. Choose. See how everyday decisions shape financial outcomes.
Move beyond terminology to understand how banking and digital payments connect to everyday financial life.
Recognise uncertainty, weigh consequences and understand why protection matters.
Explore risk, return, time and market behaviour through guided decisions – not speculation.
Think like an entrepreneur: identify choices, costs, trade-offs and the economics of running an enterprise.
Question claims, compare value and recognise the rights and responsibilities behind a purchase.
Learn to spot suspicious patterns, protect information and respond more safely to digital financial risks.
Connect classroom concepts to the business, market and economic decisions learners see around them.
Where included in the project, CforCommerce can combine participation records with baseline and endline measures, module completion and structured feedback. The exact assessment structure is configured to the programme.
The activity creates the situation. The facilitator helps learners notice what happened, explain why it happened and connect the experience to the underlying concept. Orientation and delivery support are defined according to project scope.
